You shouldn’t be worried about climate change according to Minnesota Rep. Mary Franson because it’s not mentioned in the “good book.” Franson, who is Republican of course, believes that the Bible is irrefutable proof that climate change isn’t real.
Her argument differs from someone like Donald Trump although it is no less ignorant. While it’s great that she feels comfort in the almighty word of the Bible it does leave the rest of us, who are actually trying to deal with the very real threat of climate change, in a frustrating spot. We can’t all bury our heads in the sand like this Minnesota rep and trust in the “good book” as she calls it.
