Millie Court says fans ruined her relationship with Liam Reardon amid reunion rumours

Millie Court has revealed that social media played a huge part in her break-up with boyfriend Liam Reardon last year.

The Essex beauty, 26, enjoyed a whirlwind romance with Welsh native Liam, 23, after the pair were crowned winners of Love Island in 2021, but over a year after championing the ITV2 dating show, the pair announced their unexpected split.

In recent days, it has been reported that Millie and Liam are now back on after they were 'spotted' enjoying a romantic Easter weekend together.

And it came just days after Millie told her YouTube subscribers why her relationship broke down with Liam in the first place, before she confirmed that she is dating a special someone again - but she's not ready to unveil his identity just yet.

In her candid Q&A video posted on YouTube, Millie confirmed that her fans played a huge part in her split with Liam.

The Love Island beauty admitted that there was immense pressure put on their relationship as her loyal fans continuously sent pictures, screenshots, and messages to her claiming that Liam had been unfaithful on nights out as he was seen talking to girls.

However, Millie backed Liam as she insisted that the pictures and accusations 'meant nothing' because she herself would often talk to other boys on nights out in a friendly manner.

Despite her fans meaning well by sending the messages and pictures, Millie admitted that it put huge strain on her relationship with Liam, and made her question his loyalty and commitment to her - even though deep down she knew that he loved her.

Addressing the situation in the video, Millie confirmed that she is dating someone but she doesn't want to say who yet having learned the hard way that having such a public relationship can end in heartbreak.

"I am going to confirm that I am dating someone," Millie told.

"But I'm not ready to tell you guys yet. And I love you guys and I love your support but it's early doors and you all experienced a whole, full blown meeting someone and a relationship on TV.

"You all saw it all unfold and then everything afterwards and as much as that was the best experience of my life, it is a lot when you have all eyes on you and your relationship.

"There's lots of judgements, lots of people sending you messages because they've seen the other person out - and it means absolutely nothing - they could just be talking to another person and people would be like, 'they're cheating on you'."

Millie went on: "I struggled with that a lot because it just wasn't nice. I don't really want people to be involved in my personal relationship. It ruined things. It was a big part why my last relationship ended.

"It's been a while since then and this next chapter I'm going to be keeping it a secret for a little bit, just to see how it goes."

Following Millie's confession, it is believed that she and Liam, 23, spent a secret romantic weekend together in the Lake District over the Easter break.

The pair reportedly spent the Bank Holiday in the secluded countryside and are said to have enjoyed a cosy takeaway on Saturday evening.

Insiders have claimed that the couple have been talking and secretly meeting up while working through the issues that lead to their break-up.

A source close to the pair has reportedly told theMailOnline: “Millie and Liam have been talking again, but it's early days for them.

“They weren't expecting to get back together after their breakup was so painful for them both, but months have passed, and they still couldn't stop thinking about each other.

“Coming out of Love Island was a whirlwind and now they're just looking to take things slowly and see if they can rebuild their relationship, which may take some time.”
