Arsenal fullback Oleksandr Zinchenko has been spotted in training ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash against Brighton.
The Ukrainian international picked up a knock against Newcastle United last weekend, with some reports indicating that he was expected to miss the remainder of the season through injury. But Gunners boss Mikel Arteta refused to confirm this, although he did admit that centre-half William Saliba is likely to be sidelined due to a lower back issue for the rest of the 2022/23 campaign.
"We have another session tomorrow before the Brighton game. We are trying to get players back for that day if they haven’t trained on the pitch but we will know more tomorrow", Arteta said on Friday.

"With William, it’s for sure that he’s not going to be fit for this game, and we doubt that he will be for the next game. But we want to keep the hope going and make sure we give ourselves the best chance to bring them back."
When asked if it was confirmed that Zinchenko would miss the game against the Seagulls, the Spaniard simply replied by saying: No." Now, the talented left-back has been pictured in training ahead of tomorrow's match, a huge boost for Arsenal, who can equal their best-ever Premier League points tally if they will all three of their remaining matches this term.
After the home fixture against Roberto De Zerbi's side, the Gunners will take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground next weekend before hosting Wolves to north London later this month.
