Cincinnati Bengals wideout Tee Higgins had the Pittsburgh Steelers flustered on Sunday during the loss.
Higgins was involved in penalties that went against the Steelers and wound up catching five passes for 69 yards and a score, too.
While talking about Joey Porter Jr.’s penalties on the day, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin made sure to highlight Higgins in the conversation, too.
“Tee Higgins’ got a lot to do with that,” Tomlin said, according to Aaron Becker of Steelers Now. “Tee is a goon. He is. You can’t let him beat you up.”
It’s a fun, quick look at how other teams view Higgins right now in terms of his physicality and the problems he causes defenders on a down-to-down basis.
Higgins will get a chance to cause Tomlin, Porter Jr. and the Steelers more problems in the season-ending encounter in Week 18.
More notable for fans, though, is how valued Higgins cleary is for his traits as he gets ready to likely leave in free agency next offseason.
