Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) on Tuesday announced plans to acquire game developer Activision Blizzard Inc (NASDAQ:ATVI) for $95 per share.

The proposed all-cash transaction would be Microsoft's largest acquisition ever, valued at $68.7 billion.
