Michigan State football RG Gavin Broscious to make first career start

According to the Michigan State football injury report, Kris “Big Dooley” Phillips is out for MSU’s game against Maryland. Now, it appears that redshirt sophomore Gavin Broscious will be stepping in to get his first career start in the green and white.

Phillips made his first career start against Florida Atlantic a week ago, where he was solid at right guard, but apparently injured his knee in the game. He is expected to be out for several weeks, but fans should wait for more clarification from Jonathan Smith on the matter.
