Michigan State football has been linked to mega recruiting prospect David Stone for a while. In fact, new MSU commit Bai Jobe is a close friend of Stone’s, which has certainly helped with that recruitment. On Friday, MSU took a big step forward in Stone’s recruitment, officially making his top ten.
Stone, who is the No. 4 ranked player in the 2024 recruiting class, would be a near program changing commitment for the Spartans if they are able to land him, and would instantly be the highest-ranked recruit to come to MSU since the days of Charles Rogers and Jeff Smoker.
It is thought that Oklahoma and Michigan State are currently leading for the 5-star lineman, with Oklahoma currently projected to land him as of today.
