Weight loss guru Dr Michael Mosley has shared a new super-fast weight loss diet that helped him shed a stone in just 21 days.
The TV presenter, who is a regular on the ITV talk show This Morning, claims he lost an entire stone in just three weeks after he indulged in treats and alchohol over the festive period. He thanks his dramatic weight loss to the new Fast 800 Keto diet.
The new Fast 800 Keto diet is an upgrade to Mosley's original Fast 800 programme where he advises people to eat a Mediterranean style diet filled with fruits and vegetables, while eating 800 calories a day for 12 weeks.

Now, the new programme ties in another diet with the keto programme. The New Fast 800 Keto Diet incorporates the principles of a short term low-carb, ketogenic, Mediterranean diet paired with intermittent fasting, the Daily Record reports.
The new plan works on a 50:50 rule - a diet with no more than 50g of carbs, while keeping protein intake above 50g - with a daily intake of 800 to 1,000 calories. This helps your body to burn fat stores to lose weight while maintaining muscle.
The Fast 800 Keto diet should not be followed as a long-term lifestyle plan, due to its restrictive nature. Instead it is recommended as a short term, rapid diet to help those who need to shift unhealthy weight fast.
In addition to a new book that was released in December, Mr Mosley, the man behind the 5:2 diet, developed the new diet with his wife Dr Claire Bailey.
According to the book description for Dr Mosley's new Fast 800 Keto diet book, the plan is more beneficial, healthier and sustainable than a traditional keto plan.
"The secret to this new approach is that it combines keto with intermittent fasting, which means you go into ketosis faster, while also being able to enjoy delicious Mediterranean-style food," he said.
This comes as recent research has found the keto diet to be effective for those with type 2 diabetes to help reduce central obesity and manage blood sugar levels.
