It was only a matter of time.
Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus, and Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife, Larsa, are knee deep in wedding planning. The unlikely couple with a 17-year age difference will reportedly wed, as Marcus told TMZ on Wednesday that the couple is “looking for a location” to be married.
While Marcus and Larsa have not formally announced their engagement, Larsa was seen sporting an engagement ring, according to TMZ. The couple was first connected publicly in 2022 following Larsa’s divorce from Scottie Pippen.
As for the former basketball duo, it’s unclear if they have any sort of relationship. Pippen has ripped Jordan, his Bulls running mate, in several interviews since the release of The Last Dance documentary about Jordan’s career in Chicago Now, add in his son being engaged to Pippen’s ex and there’s no question there could be some animosity there.
Pencil this down in the latest twist in the bizarre relationship between ex-teammates in their retired life.
