Michael Carvill is adamant a “devastated” Kilmore will come back stronger after suffering final day heartbreak in an epic season finale at Abbey Villa on Saturday.
Heading into the game a win would have seen his men crowned champions, a draw enough to earn them promotion, but as things turned out the hosts, with nothing to play for, fought back from 1-0 down to earn all three points, thereby leaving the top two in situ, Comber and Rosario.
As he begins the task of picking up the pieces, Carvill admits it was a bitter pill to swallow and a learning curve for himself personally in his first season as a manager.
