Met Eireann forecasts final heat spell before autumn chill grips Dublin

Don't put away the sunscreen just yet as Ireland will bask in a short hot spell before the autumn chill arrives.

Today will be dry with hazy sunshine in the morning. Cloud and sunny spells will stay for the rest of the day with a few showers and temperatures from 18 to 20 degrees.

It will be largely dry overnight with clear spells and isolated showers. The minimum temperatures will be around 7 to 10 degrees.
