Men in relationships use 'bounce method' to avoid tempting gaze of attractive singletons

One TikTok user has pointed out a common method used by men to avoid the tempting gaze of attractive singletons.

The “bounce method” isn’t anything new, but not everyone is aware of the phenomenon.

Tiktoker Daniella posted about the method when she became aware of her husband doing it.

The couple was at a festival when a group of attractive women kept trying to make eyes with him. He refused to meet their looks.

It seems that Daniella’s partner is not alone in using the ‘bounce method’ as many other men in committed relationships may use it to avoid lusty looks.

She said: “I didn’t know this until I started dating my now husband. I will never forget we were at stagecoach and we were actually working at the festival.

“There was a group of girls there. They were flawless. We also happened to be working with them and they came up to me and were like ‘Hey, that guy you’ve been talking to a lot, we’re so annoyed we keep looking at him and waving at him for the last three days and he has not given us a glance on time’.

“Then, they literally said to me ‘Are we not pretty?’ and I was like, 'Oh my god, you’re gorgeous but that is my boyfriend'.

“I remember talking to him about it later and he was like yeah it’s called the 'bounce method'. If you see someone attractive, you just bounce somewhere else because if it's not your person you’re checking out, it's disrespectful that you’re looking at someone else”.

The method, however, doesn’t only relate to attractive singletons. Apparently, it can be used in any area of life to help you avoid temptation when you come face to face with it.
