Meghan Markle 's estranged family appeared Australian television today (April 30) and unveiled some unseen family films, where the Duchess looks very different and extremely happy.
In the teaser trailer for the documentary-style interview, they teased: "The world has never seen Meghan like this, the homecoming queen."
As the voiceover played, a video played of Meghan being driven around in a convertible wearing a tiara and prom dress was shown on screen.
And now even more throwback home videos have emerged in the one-hour-long Aussie documentary, with clips showing the Duchess of Sussex looking youthful and content.
In one clip before the already-seen homecoming clip, Meghan can be seen collecting a bouquet of flowers before hugging her friends while being announced as the "homecoming queen".
The next unseen clip saw a young Meghan sitting on a pier while fishing with her bare hands, with her dad Thomas sat in front of her, before a clip of her dancing played out and then another of her dad sitting on a balcony.
As the clip of Thomas sitting on a balcony played, the voiceover said that Meghan "loved her daddy", while Meghan could be heard saying that her dad looked "chic" in sunglasses.
Explaining how he reminisces and watches the home tapes back "now and again", Thomas then added: "Her [Meghan's] childhood was with me."
Speaking about the homecoming queen clip, that sees Meghan dressed in white, Thomas appeared emotional.
Seeming to get a little choked when another snippet played out that saw Meghan driving in a convertible car as the homecoming queen, his daughter looked tearful and moved as she spotted her dad in the crowd and exclaimed: "Hello daddy".
Other clips shown during the programme show Meghan performing on-stage as a teen, while Thomas filmed his daughter and watched on in pride.
"Thank you for everything," Meghan could be heard saying in more than one throwback clip that was shown throughout the programme, presumably to her father who was behind the camera.

In all of the video clips the young girl, who would grow up to marry into the British Royal Family - appeared content, healthy and happy, with her sharing a seemingly close bond with her father.
Speaking emotionally and candidly during the programme Thomas said: "I wish that we could sit down and talk. I wish we could work out our differences.
"She loved me. I’m her hero. And suddenly I was thrown out."
This comes as Markle's share their side of the story with the public ahead of King Charles III 's Coronation next weekend on May 6.
Mirror Online previously reached out to Meghan's representatives for comment about the new interview, with them not responding.
