Meghan Markle cuts final ties to UK after stepping down as patron from animal charity Mayhew

Meghan Markle has cut one of her remaining ties to the UK after announcing the end of her Royal Patronage with animal charity Mayhew.

The Duchess' commitment to Mayhew was one of the few roles she kept when she and Prince Harry stepped back as full-time royals in 2020.

The London-based charity announced the end of their patronage today, while adding it had been "an incredible privilege" to work closely with the Duchess.
