Almost half of all UK terror arrests since 9/11 were in the past year

ALMOST half of all terrorism-related arrests in the UK since the 9/11 attacks have been made in the space of just one year, new figures have revealed.

The dramatic increase coincides with the UK Government’s controversial proscription of Palestine Action, which has resulted in thousands of people being arrested for allegedly showing support for the direct action group.
