Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has shared a video on social media to give a summary of Jeremy Hunt's Budget 2023.
In the clip, which he shared to Twitter, the consumer champion addressed the main points including tax, energy, childcare and pensions. He explained that people are taking a real terms pay cut to help pay for the costs of inflation.
Speaking to the camera, Martin said: "We are in an inflationary environment where prices are going up rapidly and many people's incomes are rising too, though not by as much as inflation, which means in real terms they're taking a pay cut."
