Finance expert Martin Lewis poked fun at himself after posting what appears to be a throwback photo on Instagram.
Martin, 50, rolled back the years with a black and white snap to his adoring 601,000 followers which saw the MoneySavingExpert.com founder with a full head of hair, which was styled, as he donned a white shirt, waistcoat and spotty bow tie.
He wrote: " I didn't mean to do it Ollie... (Found this old chestnut, thought I'd post it)." The post gained just under 3,500 likes on Instagram as fans raced to the comments section for their opinion.
One follower wrote: "Oh my I thought it was a photo of Dean Gaffney", while another replied: "Advising the country about dress sense? Then decided your financial muscles were much stronger."
A third person joked: "Professional snooker?!" and another commented: "MSE: Martin Snooker Expert".
Martin looked dapper in the photo, just like he did last Thursday when he scooped the National Television Award for TV expert. He was up against Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper, Sir David Attenborough and Repair Shop's Jay Blades for the trophy in the new category.
Martin, who received a huge standing ovation as he went to collect the award, said in his acceptance speech: "When you're up against a treasure like David Attenborough, you don't expect to win.
"Whoever said we've had enough of experts, we haven't. We need them more than ever."
He added: "It's been a pretty horrible year financially and the energy crisis has been disastrous and left many people in terrible issues and mental health problems.
"I'm afraid the next year, with the mortgage problem and the knock-on to rent, is going to be pretty bad.
"And you know what? We need somebody to get a grip on the economy and put things a little bit back."
Less than 24 hours after his rousing speech at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng was sacked by Prime Minister Liz Truss after just 38 days in office following the calamitous mini-Budget. Jeremy Hunt was appointed as Kwarteng's successor an hour later.
On Monday, Martin gave his verdict after Hunt scrapped most of the mini-Budget in a huge Tory U-turn.
The new Chancellor announced the Government would reverse almost all of the tax measures announced in Truss ' economic growth plan three weeks ago.
In response to Hunt's statement, Martin tweeted: "Hunt says energy price guarantee to remain until April. After that treasury review on how to support energy prices.
"Plus all mini budget tax measures (barring stamp duty and NI cut) now not happening, so no cut in basic rate.
"Trussenomics totally hunted down and gone."
