Amazon's mammoth 2023 Spring Sale may officially be over, but there are still a few major savings that are still available that shoppers can snap up across various products.
The online retail giant's three-day shopping event slashed prices across thousands of items between Monday, March 27 and Wednesday, March 29 - with one energy saving gadget still down in price.
The gadget in question is the Amazon Home Starter Kit, which comes with a nifty energy-efficient device that has been recommended by Martin Lewis and his team at Money Saving Expert.
As reported by the Mirror, this clever gadget lets shoppers find out which devices in the home are using the most energy, meaning homeowners can keep a track of their energy consumption, which has become incredibly important lately.
Amazon's Home Starter Kit has been slashed from £79.98 to just £41.99, saving shoppers a whopping £37.99. It comes complete with a smart-plug and the latest fifth-generation Echo Dot that can control any smart devices in the home with voice activation.
Smart plugs alone have previously been recommended by money-saving ace Martin Lewis and the team at Money Saving Expert in an energy-efficiency checklist.
Which is why it is good news that smart plugs alone are still down in price on the Amazon site, with one Amazon Smart Plug being reduced by 40%, as it is down from £24.99 to just £14.99.
The energy-efficient device can connect to your Alexa Dot to automatically turn on and off any devices in the home that might rack up the energy bill, such as lights and coffee machines.
With smart plugs being able to help homeowners conserve energy in the home, it is no wonder why the nifty device has managed to rack up impressive reviews from shoppers who are snapping them up.
One person called the Amazon Smart Plug an "excellent piece of kit".
Another shopper said: "So pleased with this smart plug. It has been a godsend as bedroom lamp is not next to bed and by asking Alexa to turn plug on she does and lamp turns on. Once in bed by saying Alexa turn plug off the lamp goes off - job done."
Shoppers can snap up the Amazon Home Starter Kit for just £41.99 in a limited-time deal on the Amazon webite.
