Irish Marks and Spencer shoppers are delighted as a popular bag that’s sold out a number of times is now in stock.
The M&S Faux Leather Cross Body Bag is a dupe for a designer one that’s currently priced at an eye-watering €3,400.
But at just €49 it’s a whopping €3,350 cheaper than its designer double.

Shoppers can’t help comparing it to the Celine box bags. Celine is a sought-after designer brand, however as a high-end label, its bags come at a price that’s unattainable for many.
M&S have released a much more affordable version, with a similar look, for €49.
After selling out a number of times, the bags are now back in stock on the M&S website and in Irish stores.
The description reads: “This faux leather bag makes a modern addition to everyday outfits. The accordion-style design has two spacious compartments, plus a zipped inside pocket for stowing your valuables. An adjustable cross-body strap ensures a comfortable fit and the pushlock fastening keeps your belongings secure. This piece is finished with stylish brushed gold hardware.
“Made with recycled polyester lining. M&S Collection: easy-to-wear wardrobe staples that combine classic and contemporary styles.”
There are five colours to choose from - Latte, Black, Blossom, Light Khaki and White Mix.
Already the black version has sold out online, but may still be on shelves in M&S stores across Ireland.
Shoppers are praising the bag, with reviewers rating it for its style and quality.
One person wrote: "Bag is an ideal size for popping out - holds phone, keys, card pouch, lipstick. Fine for €49 but would have preferred to pay extra for a leather option. Mine is well made and I love it has a cross body strap. Happy with purchase. Just be mindful of the measurements - it is rather small."
Another added: "Stunning. Been after one got so long and really pleased with it. Beautifully made. Elegant but practical."
A third said: "Really liked the design and style of the bag and it looks far more expensive than it is however it is slightly smaller than I expected."
