Manipur governor La Ganesan appeals for free and fair polls

La Ganesan Manipur IMPHAL

IMPHAL: Amid the stepped up poll-related violence in the state, governor La Ganesan has appealed to all concerned to avoid any kind of violent activities so as to enable the people to exercise their franchise freely and fairly in the ensuing assembly elections.

Manipur will go to the polls on February 28 and March 5 to elect 60 MLAs. Counting of votes will be held on March 10.
