Manchester United youngster Shola Shoretire has given his verdict on Erik ten Hag's training sessions after being involved at Carrington on Wednesday.
Shoretire has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Reds this season but the 18-year-old winger has made five in total since breaking into the senior set-up for the Europa League clash with Real Sociedad during the 2020/21 campaign. The winger was one of nine youngsters who were given the opportunity to train with the first team on Wednesday ahead of the Manchester derby.
With a number of first-team players still returning from their international set-ups; Zidane Iqbal, Alejandro Garnacho, Charlie McNeill, Rhys Bennett, Marc Jurado, Sam Murray, Bjorn Hardley, Toby Collyer and Shoretire were all present in the training session alongside the likes of first-team regulars Antony, Christian Eriksen and Diogo Dalot. From Ten Hag's relatively short time with United, seeing youngsters during the sessions has become a usual sight.

Ten Hag, like predecessors before him, has used training to bring in some of the younger talent allowing them to get up to speed with his ideas. This tactic seems to be going down well with those academy stars chosen if Shoretire's Instagram activity is anything to go by.
Posting a series of photos of himself in training on his social media profile, the teenager wrote the simple message: "Good session Manchester United." Despite giving these youngsters a chance to impress in training it would be a huge surprise if any of them feature on Sunday when the Reds travel to Manchester City in the Premier League.
