Jadon Sancho comes into the side as a result, while Scott McTominay and Marcel Sabitzer continue in midfield despite failing to impress on the weekend.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka missed the Newcastle game due to illness and returns to the bench, but Donny van de Beek (knee), Alejandro Garnacho (ankle) and Tom Heaton (ankle) remain unavailable.
Christian Eriksen has made his return to first-team training after three months out with an ankle injury, but will not be fit to face his old side.
