Erik ten Hag has resisted making too many changes for Manchester United's Premier League clash with Aston Villa tonight.
United will be without a goal for 20 days when they take to the field on Boxing Day, during which time they have lost three of four games and produced only eight shots on target.

On most occasions in that run, Ten Hag has put out the front four of Antony, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund (when available), and some fans will hope changes are made for the visit of Aston Villa. Marcus Rashford has been given the nod despite just one goal to his name since early September.
Aside from those two, Ten Hag can hardly blame injuries for a lack of options in the goal department as five of his six enforced absentees are defensive-minded players.
Diogo Dalot's return from suspension will help in that regard, whereas Raphael Varane overcoming illness sees teenage debutant Willy Kambwala drop back down to the bench.
Fit-again Christian Eriksen comes into the midfield alongside young Kobbie Mainoo
