Manchester United endured a nightmare Sunday afternoon as Erik ten Hag's side were defeated by rivals Manchester City in the derby at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola's men secured a 6-3 win over the Reds, with Erling Haaland and Phil Foden both registering hat-tricks for the reigning champions. United scored three consolation goals in the second period through Antony and Anthony Martial, but the away side were dominated for the majority of the clash.
While United's result at the Etihad was disappointing for all involved with the club, several of the Reds loanees enjoyed more productive weekend's with their loan side.

Alex Telles, Amad and Ethan Laird were among those in action, with several youngsters also starring in their respective matches.
Alex Telles
The Brazilian defender, who is on loan with Sevilla for the season, started on the bench for the LaLiga side, but came on after just 28 minutes to replace the injured Karim Rekik.
Sevilla lost 2-0 at home to Atletico Madrid on Saturday, with Marcos Llorente and Alvaro Morata scoring for the away side. Julen Lopetegui’s men currently sit just one point above the relegation zone.
Amad and Alvaro Fernandez
Two United youngster came up against each other Championship on Saturday as Preston North End clashed with Sunderland. Despite the game finishing 0-0, both players looked positive in the encounter.
Fernandez played the full 90 minutes at the Stadium of Light, while Amad was introduced from the bench in the 60th minute.
Ethan Galbraith
Galbraith was named Man of the Match for his strong showing against Grimsby Town in League 2, with the midfielder - who is on loan with Salford - delivering an impressive performance.
The 21-year-old's side drew 1-1 against the newly-promoted outfit. The midfielder has made five appearances for Salford so far this term.
Ethan Laird
The defender has been solid for Queens Park Rangers all season, and played the full 90 minutes as the London club won 2-1 away to Bristol City in the Championship.
Laird, who was recently given the Man of the Match award for his performance against Stoke City, will be keen to continue performing well for QPR after making a strong start to his loan spell.
Hannibal
Hannibal came on in the second half for Birmingham City as they drew 1-1 with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the Championship.
The Tunisia midfielder, who was introduced on 65 minutes, was able to grab an assist just six minutes after coming on as he set-up former Watford man Troy Deeney for the equaliser.
Charlie Wellens
The youngster - on loan at National League side Oldham - made a substitute appearance in a 2-1 home defeat against Wrexham, being brought on in the 69th minute.
Oldham were in front at the time, but Ben Tozer levelled for Wrexham with just five minutes of normal time to go before Paul Mullin scored a penalty in the 95th minute to seal the victory for the away side.
Matej Kovar
The goalkeeper enjoyed a successful weekend with Sparta Prague, playing the full game as his side beat Hradec Kralove 2-1. The home side, who were reduced to 10 men after 29 minutes, came from a goal down to secure the win.
Dean Henderson
Henderson will be in action for Nottingham Forest on Monday night as Steve Cooper's side face off against Leicester City in the Premier League.
Both clubs currently find themselves in the relegation zone and will be desperate to get one over on their Midlands rival.
