Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has completed a season-long loan move to French side Marseille.
Bailly, 28, has not played a competitive game for United since last December when he featured in a Premier League win over Burnley. His only appearances since then have come for the Ivory Coast and in pre-season.
The arrival of Lisandro Martinez from Ajax pushed Bailly, who has been at Old Trafford since 2016, even further down the pecking order. He has not been named in any of United's three matchday squads in the league this term.

Marseille will cover the full amount of the 28-year-old's wages during the arrangement and there is a €6million obligation for them to buy him next summer subject to a certain number of appearances being made as well as the club qualifying for the Champions League.
His contract at United runs until the summer of 2024 with the club holding the option of a further year. The extension was penned in April 2021 but since then he has featured a mere 13 times for the club.
