Manchester Airport has issued a warning to anyone flying out in the coming days.
It comes as the UK is in a period of national mourning following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, September 8. In the wake of Her Majesty's death, there have been a number of changes to our day to day lives.
A number of sporting events have been cancelled, as well as changes to TV listings. Some planned rail strikes have also been suspended.

People are also advised to check travel plans ahead of setting off, as some routes are considerably busier and expect to stay this way throughout the mourning period, which is set to continue until Tuesday, September 20.
Manchester Airport is warning its passengers to plan ahead. In a tweet on Tuesday, airport bosses said: "Across the transport industry, services are expected to be much busier than usual throughout the period of mourning.
"Plan ahead, check before you travel and allow more time for your journey." The tweet then signposted followers to a number of transport organisations, including National Rail and Highways North West, for further information.
Anyone due to travel can also check the security wait times, in real time, on Manchester Airport's website. At the time of publication the estimated times were as follows:
- Terminal 1: 15-30 minutes
- Terminal 2: 0-15 minutes
- Terminal 3: 15-30 minutes
