A man threatened a staff member and stole money from a pub while drinkers sat inside.
At around 11.30pm on Sunday, April 2, a man, believed to be armed with a knife threatened a staff member and took a quantity of cash at the Addison Arms on Stanley Road, Bootle. No one was injured, but the staff member was left shaken by the incident.
The suspect, who was dressed in all black clothing and had his face covered, fled the area on a bike in the direction of Strand Road. CCTV enquiries are ongoing and Merseyside Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward to help with their investigation.

Despite being due to open at 9am, the pub remained closed on Monday morning. Outside the pub, Stanley Road was closed due to an unrelated incident which saw a man in his 60s hospitalised after being hit by a bus.
Detective Inspector Gavin Mulcahy said: “We are appealing for information following a robbery at the Addison Arms on Sunday evening. We understand that there were people in the pub at the time of the incident. If this was you, please come forward as information you hold could be vital to our enquiries.
“Similarly if you were driving in the Stanley Road area on Sunday evening and have dashcam footage then please review it and let us know if you see the man described on a bike or anything suspicious.
“No-one should be subjected to this level of fear and intimidation while they try to earn an honest living, so please come forward and we will do everything in our power to put this offender before the courts.
“Whether you come forward to us directly or anonymously via Crimestoppers, all information will be acted upon.”
A spokesperson for the Addison Arms said: “Following an incident at the pub at closing time we have provided police with CCTV and are assisting police with their investigation. Nobody was hurt during the incident.”
