A man broke nine ribs, fractured his spine, and cracked his skull leaving him with a bleed on the brain - after he tripped over his pet cat. The hairless sphynx jumped up and latched onto Chris' leg, and as he tried to move out of the way, he slipped down the stairs - leaving him with catastrophic injuries akin to a car crash.
After the incident, Chris wasn't discovered until the next morning due to his partner working nights - leaving him lying in a pool of blood as his cat sat on his chest.
