The ISIS fanatic who murdered Sir David Amess smirked as he was sentenced to life for the killing.

Ali Harbi Ali, 26, from North London travelled to Leigh-on-Sea in Essex and stabbed the Conservative backbencher 21 times with a 12-inch carving knife on October 15 last year.

Ali smirked and winked at members of the press as he was taken to the cells after his court appearance at the Old Bailey on Wednesday (April 13), the Mirror reports.
