Manchester United are ready to act in the January transfer window as they look to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese forward and the Red Devils ended their relationship by mutual consent this week, following the player's explosive tell-all interview with Piers Morgan. Ronaldo has been used sporadically by Erik ten Hag this term, but his exit still leaves the squad light in the final third.
As a result the MEN claims United are ready to "push the button" in search of a replacement come the New Year. Ronaldo was the club's top scorer last term, but has only scored once in the Premier League prior to his departure. Ten Hag's side are by no means prolific and are looking for some more firepower.
