Manchester United are reportedly hoping to make a decision on who their next manager will be by the end of the month, amid suggested interest in Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.
Ralf Rangnick has looked to steady the ship at Old Trafford ever since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's departure in November, but it's becoming increasingly evident that his stay as United boss is only temporary. The Red Devils currently trail both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for top four, and after being eliminated from all of their remaining cup competitions, it looks as though the German will no longer be in charge next season.
Behind the scenes, United are continuing to weigh up their managerial options, and plenty of big names have been mooted. The likes of Erik ten Hag and Mauricio Pochettino are seen as getable targets, whilst some reports have suggested that the board are closely monitoring the ongoing takeover situation at Chelsea in case an opportunity presents itself whereby the Reds may be able to make a swoop for Tuchel.
