Man’s body found at Scots property as police launch ‘unexplained death’ probe

An ‘unexplained death’ investigation has been launched by police after a man’s body was found at a property in Glasgow.

Officers are continuing their enquiries after a 43-year-old man passed away suddenly at an address in Commore Drive in the Knightswood area of the city.

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 6pm on Friday, March 17, but the man was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police Scotland have confirmed that they are treating his death as ‘unexplained’. It is not currently known whether there are any suspicious circumstances.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal as is the case with all sudden deaths.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.55pm on Friday, 17 March, 2023, we were made aware of the sudden death of a 43-year-old man at a property on Commore Drive, Glasgow.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
