Man's body found at a house in Swansea after police called

Police have confirmed that the body of a man has been found at a property in Swansea. South Wales Police say officers attended an address on Elan Avenue, Clase on Tuesday, January 3, after concern for the wellbeing of the householder was reported.

The force said that after gaining entry to the property the body of a 44-year-old man was located. The death is not considered suspicious.

Residents reported a police presence at the property throughout Tuesday. Police said next of kin and the coroner had been informed.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers attended at an address on Elan Avenue, Clase after concern for the wellbeing of the householder was reported. After gaining entry to the property the body of a 44-year-old man was located. The death is not considered suspicious. Next of kin and HM Coroner have been informed."
