Man rushed to hospital with serious head injury following violent attack near school

A man was rushed to hospital after suffering serious head injuries in a violent attack in Boghall on Tuesday night.

The incident happened around 7.20pm in the Elizabeth Drive area, near Boghall Primary.

The victim, a 47-year-old man, sustained serious injuries to his head and was taken to St John’s Hospital in Livingston for treatment.
