HYDERABAD: A man died after a TSRTC bus rammed into his bike and ran over him near the assembly on Saturday.
Saifabad police said that D Murali Krishna died after coming under the wheels of the bus. “The victim fell from his bike after the bus allegedly hit him and was run over by the bus. He sustained multiple injuries and died on the spot,” police said. The police reached the spot and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.
The victim, a gardener, was an outsourced government employee at the department of horticulture. The bus driver surrendered before the police.
A case was registered under section 304 a (negligence causing death) of IPC.
