Police in Northern Ireland have launched an investigation after a man was stabbed in the hands, neck and nose in Belfast on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred in the South Belfast area and officers were alerted to it at around 6:05 am on February 5.
Police rushed to the scene where the man, in his 30s, had been attacked.

It is understood that he suffered stab wounds to his neck, hands, and nose, but police described his injuries as non-life-threatening at this point.
A police spokesperson said a passer-by discovered the victim in the Raphael Street area, and a team are now investigating all circumstances surrounding the horrific attack.
The spokesperson confirmed: “The man, aged in this 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, which included stab wounds to his hands, neck and nose. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this stage.
“Enquiries remain ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything, or who may have dashcam, CCTV or other video footage. The number to call is 101 quoting reference 470 of 05/02/23.”
