A Chevrolet Silverado owner got a quote from a shop to replace his inner and outer tie rods, thought the asking price was too steep, and took the paperwork to another mechanic. That mechanic put the quote on camera next to his own parts and labor costs, and said he could not get near that figure if he tried.
