A body was found inside a home in a residential area of Nottingham. Police were called to a property in St Ann's on Friday, August 5, following concerns for a man's welfare.
Police were spotted in the area by concerned neighbours. The door of the house in Britten Gardens was taken off by police, an eyewitness said.
Nottinghamshire Police attended the scene shortly after 10.30am. They gained access inside the property, it has been confirmed.

A man was found dead inside the property. The incident is not currently being treated as suspicious, Nottinghamshire Police confirmed.
Inspector Pete Shaw, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the Coroner. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this extremely difficult time.”
