If you've always thought that the most infuriating cinema-goers are the ones who speak to their pals throughout the entire film or eat their snacks excessively loud - then think again.
A man has left people's jaws dropping after sharing his own experience at the theatre with one 'entitled' customer.
He claims that he was forced to move from his reserved seats after a cinema-goer was selfishly caught resting their bare feet over the armrest of the chairs.
Taking to popular forum site Reddit, the man shared an image of the revolting experience to the subreddit forum r/mildlyinfuriating - which boasts more than 5.6 million members.
Alongside the photo of the person's bare feet, the Reddit user explained: "Had to sit in different seats at the theater [sic] because this is what we found in the seats we had reserved."
The photo showed a person's feet exposed - toes and all - as they sat on the seat behind and pushed their feet through the gaps.
Since sharing the image, the man's post has surpassed 35,000 interactions to date - with over 3,500 people flocking to the comments to discuss the matter.
A Reddit user penned: "We gotta stop letting people feel entitled to their bull****. They're your seats, tell them to move their nasty dogs, if they don't, get a manager to do it for you."
While some people found the situation rather strange, others thought it best to share their suggestions on how to approach the peculiar situation.
One person joked: "Pull your phone out and use the flash acting like you're taking pics of their feet. Then whisper loud enough so they hear 'mmm yeah those will do'.
"Fake a sneeze and spray soda on their toes and listen for the scream of horror," a second joked.
A third suggested: "I would put my arm on my armrests and not let go of their feet till it's over."
