A man has tragically died following a fall from a window in Bedminster yesterday evening (June 3). He was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital for treatment.
Officers were called to North Street around 11pm after a witness reportedly heard a man shouting out of a building window in Bedminster.
Despite police efforts to engage with him from the street, he sadly fell and later died in hospital, a spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police confirmed.

A police spokesperson said: “Police were called to a concern for welfare incident at 11pm on Friday 3 June. Witnesses reported a man shouting out of a window in North Street, Bedminster.
"Officers arrived at approximately 11.11pm. Within a couple of minutes, while they were attempting to engage with him from the street, he fell from the window. The man went to hospital by ambulance where, sadly, he later died.
"His next of kin have been notified and are being supported. Our thoughts are with them in their loss. A referral will be made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to the police presence.”
