Man dies after disturbance at Scot home as cops launch probe into 'unexplained' death

A man has died after reports of a disturbance at a home in Wishaw. Emergency services were called to the property on Glencleland Road at around 8.50pm on Friday, October 28.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a badly injured 43-year-old man, who was later pronounced dead at the scene.

His death is currently being treated as "unexplained" by investigators with enquiries ongoing to establish the circumstances. No one has been charged in connection so far.

A statement from Police Scotland said: “We were made aware of a disturbance at Glencleland Road in Wishaw around 8.50pm on Friday, 28 October.

“Emergency services attended and a 43-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“His death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries remain ongoing.”
