Ederson: Started City's malaise in defence with a fumble and failed to command his penalty area from dead balls. 4
Walker: If Newcastle was his toughest game in a while, they were equally horrible in the first half. Defensive errors mixed with errant balls sprayed forward to nobody. 4
Stones: A rocky start but recovered well and teed up Erling Haaland for the third goal. He is City's best ball-playing defender with Laporte out. 6
Dias: Caught up in the general mess at the back and is struggling to assert himself in games like he did in his first season. 5

De Bruyne: A quiet afternoon with some wayward passing, although was involved in the equaliser. 6
Mahrez: Some nice work in the first half but he didn't do enough to spare him being hooked. 6
Foden: Passed to Haaland for the goal! Much improved in the second half when he got in the game more. 7
Haaland: Was rubbish for an hour and then scored two classic No.9 goals before a brilliant third to complete his hat-trick. 9
