Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker has revealed he is progressing well following the injury he sustained in the 6-3 derby victory over Manchester United.
The England international, who started at right-back for Pep Guardiola's side, was forced off in the 41st minute. The 32-year-old was clearly playing in discomfort prior to coming off and is set for a spell on the sidelines.
Walker has made eight appearances for City so far this term but missed the two Champions League matches last month. The former Tottenham Hotspur man is facing a race against time to be fit for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, which begins next month.
