A man appeared in court charged with the murder of a teenager in north London.
Kevin Peraj, 23, is accused of killing Ahmed Habib, 19, who was found with fatal stab wounds near Finsbury Park on July 17.
Peraj, of Kentish Town, was remanded in custody after short hearing at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Thursday and next appears at the Old Bailey on 22 July.
Police were scrambled to the junction of Stroud Green Road and Tollington Park at 02.50am where the victim lay fatally injured.
A police statement said: “Officers, London Ambulance Service and medics from London’s Air Ambulance all attended and found Ahmed suffering from stab injuries.
“Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The injuries of the second man in the car were not life-threatening.
“Ahmed’s family continue to be supported by specialist officers.”
