A man has been arrested in Glasgow in connection with an ongoing murder investigation in Birmingham.
A person was discovered collapsed in a multi-occupancy address on Colebrook Road, Tyseley at around 6pm on Monday, February 28.
Emergency services attended but the 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, according to Birmingham Live.
Another 30-year-old man has been arrested overnight in Glasgow.
He will be transferred to the West Midlands today for questioning.
Police confirmed that they are still carrying out thorough forensic examination.
The man's family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A spokesman from West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a medical emergency at a property on Colebrook Road at 5.47pm.
"One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one male patient.
"Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
