Gwyneth Paltrow enjoyed her recent milestone birthday in style and has been making fans jealous by sharing snaps of her celebrations.
The GOOP founder headed off on a road trip in Italy with her husband Brad Falchuk and pals as they marked her 50th birthday.
Gwyneth took to Instagram on Thursday to share some snaps from the getaway, including a makeup-free selfie and pictures of all of their delicious meals.
In one picture, the Sliding Doors actress looked radiant as she relaxed in a dressing gown and slippers while perched on the kitchen counter top. The stunning Italian countryside could be seen through the windows behind her.
Gwyneth also delighted fans by sharing a picture with fashion designer Brunello Cucinelli and his daughter Carolina.
Gwyneth completed the post with a hilarious video of herself trying to understand the Italian instructions at a toll booth before squealing with joy when she was finally able to get through.
She captioned it: "Birthday trip to Umbria with a road trip or two," with a red car emoji.
Brunello also posted about the trip on his own Instagram page as he revealed Cameron Diaz had also been in attendance.
The Italian getaway comes after Gwyneth also marked her 50th birthday by posing nude and painting her body gold.
The movie star shared some details of the shoot in a press release for her brand GOOP.
"All I know is that they're painting me gold and that I have to be naked," she said.
"I feel so good turning 50, and this is about expressing that sense of energy and optimism that I'm experiencing. It's more about the female gaze and just a sense of fun."
Photographer Andrew Yee took the pictures, while celebrity makeup artist Lottie turned Paltrow into a "golden goddess".
Gwyneth also reflected on her memorable life moments and shared a black-and-white picture of herself in a bikini.
In the Instagram caption, she wrote: "Musings on a milestone."
She also directed her followers to click on a link to her blog, where she spoke candidly about her thoughts on turning 50.
Noting that she is moving into "new territory", Gwyneth said that it "requires owning my mistakes and finds me prostrate, praying I have learned from them all."
