Olwethu Makhanya has secured a last-minute visa in a huge Europa League boost for Rangers.
The South African centre-back, signed from Philadelphia Union, was a doubt to feature in the match in Poland due to a visa issue.
Derek McInnes had said after the 1-1 draw with Dundee United: "Makhanya, who we have signed, still has a potential to maybe be a risk for getting a visa for Poland for the away game.
However, it has now been revealed the defender will be allowed to travel and play in the match after help from a Glasgow MP.
Labour MP for Glasgow South West Dr Zubir Ahmed assisted the new Rangers signing in getting clearance to travel and feature in the Europa League qualifier on Thursday night.
Posting on his Facebook page, Dr Ahmed wrote: "(90'+4) Great to be able to help new Rangers FC signing Olwethu Makhanya get his lastminute Polish visa for Thursday's Europa League game in Bialystock.

The news will be a massive relief for McInnes who is already facing a defensive headache for the crucial qualifier.
Ben Godfrey has been ruled out for around a month after a hamstring injury forced him off against Dundee United at Tannadice on Friday night.
And fellow summer arrival Ross McCrorie has been playing with a knee complaint ahead of the trip to Poland on Thursday.
