Nottingham Forest are reportedly yet to hold formal conversations with Jesse Lingard over a new deal at the club.
The 30-year-old made the switch from Manchester United to the City Ground last summer, signing a one-year contract on Trentside.
Lingard has contributed two goals and as many assists in 17 outings for Steve Cooper's side, so far this season.

His future is uncertain beyond the summer. According to the Daily Mail, Forest are 'yet to begin formal negotiations' over fresh terms, and having entered the final months of his contract Lingard would be free to sign for an overseas club.
Speaking about his future, Lingard said previously: "I just want to help Forest this season. I don’t know what the future will hold but I am enjoying it here.
"I always have a smile on my face in training and going into games. Happiness is key for me. That is always the most important thing."
