Major delays after three-car crash on Glasgow motorway

COMMUTERS were left facing major delays after a three-vehicle crash on the M77 in Glasgow.

The accident occurred shortly before 2pm this afternoon.

Police Scotland were called to the scene at junction 1, Dumbreck.

Traffic Scotland revealed one lane was closed.

At 2.30pm, all traffic was temporarily held whilst fluid and debris were removed from the road.

Shortly after, all lanes were reopened, but there were long queues in both directions.

Cops could not confirm if there were any injuries.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 1.50pm on Sunday, November 6, 2022, police received report of a road crash involving three vehicles on the M77 J1 northbound.

"The cars were removed onto the hard shoulder and enquiries are ongoing."
