MAFS stars Amy and Jonathan enjoy cosy date after trying to play down romance rumours

Married at First Sight stars Amy Christophers and Jonathan Wileman enjoyed what appeared to be a cosy date on Friday night.

The reality TV stars have been partying together over recent days, as Amy launches her new jewellery collection with the aim of raising money for the charity, SOS Silence of Suicide.

Jonathan was by Amy's side in Liverpool on Thursday, as the sports presenter hosted an intimate event with her nearest and dearest and emotionally explained the inspiration behind her new line of earrings, Phoenix rising from the Ashes.

It appears the reality TV stars have extended their stay in the northern city and continue to spend even more time with one another - with the pair looking besotted with one another as they giggled and enjoyed drinks at Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse in Liverpool.

Amy, who appeared on Married at First Sight in 2021, looked super stylish as she sat across from Jonathan in the city centre Beerhouse - laughing as Jonathan cracked jokes throughout their cosy date night.

The football and racing presenter, 34, from Cornwall flicked her brunette tresses back at one point during the evening, as she lovingly gazed over at Jonathan while wearing a striking burgundy-red ensemble.

Jonathan, who tied the knot with Sophie Brown when he took part in the E4 show earlier this year, cut a dapper figure for the outing with Amy on Friday night.

The Yorkshireman, 32, wore a crisp white shirt and black trousers as he enjoyed another night out in Liverpool, with onlookers noting how the joiner seemed pretty interested in his date for the night.

"Sparks were flying," a fellow patron of the bar exclusively tells the Mirror after spotting Jonathan and Amy looking loved-up.

They add: "Jonathan was very attentive - he seems really into her."

The sighting of the potential new couple comes following a representative for the two stars confirming the pair have been getting to know each other.

"They’ve grown close since the show's reunion and are enjoying each other’s company as friends," a spokesperson for both Amy and Christopher stated earlier this week after rumours about the pair began to whirl.

Amy is currently single after splitting from her live-in boyfriend earlier this year.

The star, whose ex-husband married Joshua Christie on national TV last year, is seemingly focussing on her career at the moment, as she launches a brand new collection of earrings.

"I wanted something that would empower the wearer and stand for the struggles we have all faced in life, we all have our own stories to tell," the star told her fans on Instagram as she introduced her latest designs.

She continued to say: "These earrings represent having the courage to start over, it’s never too late to change something or decide not to give up. We can all rise from the ashes, it doesn’t have to be the end.

"I wanted a simple geometric-shaped Phoenix, I wanted black as you never see many black earrings and they go with everything. Black is a powerful colour & will add timeless style and sophistication to any outfit."

The earrings have black tourmaline crystals incorporated into the design - a crystal that has helped Amy through some tough times over the years.

"I personally feel it’s one of the more powerful crystals out there! It was really vital I included it in my design," the star explained before revealing a percentage from each sale will go to the charity that is a proud ambassador of, SOS Silence Of Suicide.

SOS began as a social support group in 2015, founded by Michael Mansfield and his wife Yvette, following personal losses to suicide. They decided the elephant in the room needed to be discussed openly to help fight shame, stigma and silence surrounding mental health and suicide.

Alongside Amy, celebrities including Lorraine Kelly and Judge Rinder use their platform to help the charity raise funds and awareness.
